peace, ..let's observe, be grateful and live" LAVOZ kmrt
My grandma used to say,
“Life isn’t something you rush through, dear — it’s something you sit with, like a cup of tea. You sip it, one moment at a time.”
When I was younger, I never really understood what she meant.
I thought life was all about moving fast, chasing dreams, and proving myself.
But now, as I grow older, her words come back to me — softer, wiser, and truer than ever.
Grandma believed that happiness wasn’t found in perfect plans, but in simple grace.
In the smell of bread baking in the oven.
In the way the sunset paints the sky a little differently every day.
In forgiving others even when you never got an apology.
“Don’t hold your breath waiting for the world to be kind,” she’d say.
“Be kind first. That’s where peace begins.”
She taught me that no matter how hard life gets,
you can still find something to be grateful for — a roof, a meal, a hand to hold, or even a quiet evening with your own thoughts.
“Joy,” she said, “isn’t what you have. It’s how you see.”
Now, when life feels heavy, I think of her sitting on the porch,
rocking gently, watching the world go by with that calm smile.
She never tried to control everything — she just trusted the rhythm of time.
💛 The Thought:
Maybe wisdom isn’t about knowing all the answers.
Maybe it’s about learning to find peace in the questions.
And maybe, the best thing we can do — just like Grandma —
is to slow down, be kind, and notice the beauty that was always there.
